Too Hot for Comfort – No Rebels with a Cause Saturday

No Ricardo’s Saturday evening due to predicted heat and HOT asphalt.

From Shane of Car Guys Care:

“Due to the excessive heat we are experiencing this week we are canceling this weekend’s Rebels with a Cause Cruise Night at Ricardo’s Restaurant and will be moving August’s cruise to 7:30 pm to whenever, sorry for any inconvenience. Shane Dastrup Car Guy’s Care Coordinator.”

As far as we know at this time all is a go for Tuacahn Saturday Market at 10:00 AM

Also here is the info for the July Jamboree in Cedar City click here for info. Hopefully it will be a little cooler up there.

Lets not forget the Run to the Red Rocks in Kanab 6:30 Pm to 9:00 Pm.

Then we got this email from Dennis Awesumb and he asked us to  post it;  The Southern Utah Horseshoe Club is looking for a 50’s convertible or 50’s truck to be in the 24th of July Parade in Washington City to carry the Horseshoe Queens. The World Horseshoes Tournament is coming to St George July 16 to July 26 and will elect Queens to represent the World Tournament. If you are interested in driving them in your 50’s car or truck please contact Dennis Awsumb at 801-870-6170 or email dawsumb@gmail.com

SHAZAAM! (Revisited) Heat Will NOT Deter a Great Week of Car Stuff

There was so much info on here it seemed worth posting again with a couple additions. If you have any photos you want posted for any of the weekend events send them to desertcruzin@gmail.com
