Saturday the September 9th it is Ivins City Heritage Days.

One week from Saturday, September 9th, Ivins City celebrates Heritage Days and this year they would like to invite street rodders to join them in both the casual (no charge, no trophies) Show & Shine in the Ivins City Park on the north west corner of Center (Snow Canyon Parkway) and Main and the early morning Heritage Days parade. They ask those bringing rods or customs to come around 8 AM for placement in the parade line-up and show spots. You DO NOT have to register, but we recommend you let Lydia Nelson know to expect you. The show and shine is open to all street rods and specialty cars from the Red Rock area.

Please contact Lydia Nelson (Troys Custom Paint & Body-Ivins) at 435-668 2623 (text/call/email) to be sure you have show and parade positions reserved. Oh, and one thing more. If you happen to have an old Soap Box Derby car hanging in your man cave, Ivins is also having a Soap Box Derby race (registration required on the Ivins City web-site!). Just make sure you have a driver who will still fit in your old gravity racer!  Keep the rubber on the road……………………..

NOTE: If you are going to cruise Ivins with your rod in the parade, please make sure to let Lydia know the details, i.e., your name, year and make of car, etc., so you can be recognized.
