September Weeks are Busy – BUT The Next Two are WOW Weeks

HOT OFF THE PRESS – Car Guys Care is doing some help for the Houston Hurricane Relief (Texas Relief in General) at some car events this month – No Obligation at all, but there will be donation jugs at Cars & Coffee, Hangout, Rebels with a Cause, Freddy’s and hopefully Daily Grind & Donuts along with a few others. Car Guys Care hope all the Clubs and Groups in the area with join in with their support as well. Anyone with additional ideas please contact Shane at 435-619-9970 or Owen at 435-215-5298   ***Note – Cars & Coffee, Rebels with a Cause & Freddy’s Burger Cruise Night are Car Guys Care Organized Functions but all are welcome.

Keep those bad bays dusted off and shined up. No rest for the wicked when it comes to something to do around here. Remember it is more about friendships and fun than it is about cars. Everything coming up is for all to enjoy and who cares who belongs to which group, club, or click.

Saturday is Cars & Coffee at Perks on Sunset 9 AM. One of the all time favorites in these here parts is this First Saturday of each month same time and same place organized by Car Guys Care and the great Perks Staff & owners. This is one of those EVERYONE is welcome deals….drive anything you wish. Click HERE for details.

September 9th – SaturdayRecurring Monthly Event – Martin Greenbank here from the “Run to the Red Rocks” car club in Kanab UT. We are not holding a car show in Kanab this year due in part to shortage of members to support it. Instead we are holding a “Show & Shine” every second Saturday of the month on N. Main Street (Kanab) from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, hoping to enlist more members in the club.

More On Ivins : Ivins City Celebrates Heritage Days and this year they would like to invite all street rodders to join both the casual Show & Shine in the City Park on the N/W corner of Center (Snow Canyon Parkway) and Main and the morning Heritage Days parade. Rods or customs come around 8 AM for parade line-up and show spots. You DO NOT have to register, but we recommend you let Lydia Nelson know to expect you. Please contact Lydia Nelson (Troys Custom Paint & Body-Ivins) at 435-668 2623 (text/call/email) to be sure you have show and parade positions reserved. If you happen to have an old Soap Box Derby car hanging in your man cave, Ivins is also having a Soap Box Derby race (registration required on the Ivins City web-site!). Saturday the September 9th it is Ivins City Heritage Days.

One week from Saturday, September 9th, Ivins City celebrates Heritage Days and this year they would like to invite street rodders to join them in both the casual (no charge, no trophies) Show & Shine in the Ivins City Park on the north west corner of Center (Snow Canyon Parkway) and Main and the early morning Heritage Days parade. They ask those bringing rods or customs to come around 8 AM for placement in the parade line-up and show spots. You DO NOT have to register, but we recommend you let Lydia Nelson know to expect you. The show and shine is open to all street rods and specialty cars from the Red Rock area.

 Please contact Lydia Nelson (Troys Custom Paint & Body-Ivins) at 435-668 2623 (text/call/email) to be sure you have show and parade positions reserved. Oh, and one thing more. If you happen to have an old Soap Box Derby car hanging in your man cave, Ivins is also having a Soap Box Derby race (registration required on the Ivins City web-site!). Just make sure you have a driver who will still fit in your old gravity racer!  Keep the rubber on the road……………………..

That gives all time to gas up, drink up, snack up, and wake up. This is a Non-Club Specific cruise with everyone welcome. No real need to pre-register or even stick around and show their cars, but should be a great morning for a cruise. The AllGens Camaro Club of Southern Utah are up-n-at-’em gettin’ this chebang off the grounds (no pun intended) and welcoming EVERYONE out for this Meet & Greet, Cruise-In, Show & Shine, or whatever it is, but all we know it is a great location and good times. The intent here is for coffee & donuts to be provided for all, but there is a little jug out there for a little monetary help and rightly so.
