Another Great Week on Our Horizon

Of course, the rain, or threat of rain, raised havoc with all the Southern Utah events Saturday for most folks. But, let’s keep a good thought about maybe being OK to rain next Friday and hope for a nice, dry Saturday coming up. Click THIS LINK to see 10-Day weather for St. George specifically. Have you ever wondered why the “official” temp or storm totals varied so much with where you live….just for fun check this out  →  Click HERE and right under where is says St. George, UT you can change the weather station to all of the reporting spots. (Thanks Michael Baesler)

There is nothing out of the ordinary going on this week, but the regular things happening are always great events unless there is rain. Even that does not cancel the whole thing. People generally just hop in their regular cars and shoot on down anyway.

Hot Rod Hangout at Ricardo’s on Wednesday around 9 AM is a very popular meeting spot for car lovers of all kinds and from all groups or clubs. The average attendance this time of year is about 40. Ricardo’s on South Bluff in St. George chips in free drinks with your meal even with the specials. Click HERE to view the flyer. There is no host club or group – just everyone invited.

Iceberg Cruise-In / Show & Shine at 5 PM at 200 East St. George Blvd. is one of the longest and best attended monthly car dealie-bobbers in the region and always a great time. Click right HERE to view flyer. Organized, and hosted, by the Desert Rodders of Southern Utah. For more information on their club click right HERE

Come on Out and Enjoy the Car Shows, Cruise-Ins, & Show & Shines

It looks like maybe a little cooling off for a day or two with a chance of rain. Friday night looks like the highest probability of rain, and we hope it gets some good numbers. Then; let’s hope the Car Show Gods are kind to all of us and give us Saturday with some nice sunshine. Even with the rain coming a bit the temperatures look like they will be holding onto some warmth. On car show days I am truly a global warming advocate. I guess most of you all are since we drive a lot of cars getting 10-15 mpg…..of course, that excludes Patrick’s Prius.

Quick note:

Looking for a pair 33/34 Pontiac front fender? Also a good set of hen’s teeth.
