Trunk-or-Treat Monday BUT See 1st Responder Info Below

Trunk-or-Treat

Monday Afternoon/Evening 5 PM – 8 PM at Iceberg coordinated by the great people of the Desert Rodders of Southern Utah inviting EVERYONE to join in….You can decorate your vehicles, costume up, or just come looking like the scary group we really are. Bring a lot of candy because in the past this has been one checked out event for our little friends. Click right HERE to check out the flyer.

BUT, before visiting that flyer you will certainly want to see this great article from the St. George News regarding the Car Show Saturday supporting all the 1st Responders which was held this year at Rent and Repair in St. George. Click right HERE to view the article, and we will have some photos up soon on Memory Lane.

With all that went on just days before the event we have to give KUDOS to everyone who made this work out to be one of the FIVE Major shows in Southern Utah (We take a stab at guessing the biggies are – Tuacahn in May, Hurricane at Easter, Swiss Days in Santa Clara, the 1st Responders, and Cedar City in July).  Thanks to all the sponsors, supporters, car lovers, and volunteers who made supporting our 1st Responders a huge success. Special thanks to Darren Nuttall of Desert Sports Management, Nick, Victoria, & Nathan at Rent & Repair, Car Guys Care (Shane, Owen, & John), and the staff at DesertCruzin.com. It takes a lot of folks organizing, promoting, and supporting an event to make it great.

Car Guys Care requested Jim “Doc” Poulson take lots of photos, and we hope to have those posted this week.

Monika please hurry up and get well…..you are needed here.

1st Responders Car Show Location Change

Due to the inexcusable and rediculous St. George City bureaucratic mindset the October 29th Car Guys Care 1st Responders Car Show is moved to the Fwy side of Rent and Repair’s parking lot located at 150 east 1160 South across from Family Fun.

Click Right HERE to view the flyer for all the hot scoop. Following is the message from Darren Nuttal: 1st Responders Car Show has moved over to Rent and Repair 150 E 1160 S across from Fiesta Fun. Here are the updated flyers for the change. Please let everybody know about the change.

SG City’s policy on vendors and exhibitors have made it impossible for the car show to be on any public properties in SG CITY. it would mean everyone would have to carry an insurance policy of 1 to 3 million to be in the show. That’s a cost of $150 – $300 per participants. Totally UNREAL!!!!! So we moved.

Never Ending Fun for Southern Utah’s Car Lovers

Hi everybody Steve at Steve’s Hot Rod Garage here, just wanted to take a moment to mention that this week I will be attempting to take over the management of the website but only for this week.

Since Monika has gone to Florida for the week to visit her Father and family she hasn’t seen in sometime and to take some much needed time off and she really deserves this time away.

Trust me when I say we miss her as much at the shop as I’m sure you all will on here this week. I will do my best but she is the expert so I apologize in advance for what I’m sure to be my less than stellar interweb skills. So bear with us its just one week.

But I would like to THANK YOU all for all your support and patronage over the last 5 years we have made lots of friends and have enjoyed all of you. So again Thank You.

Sincerely

Steve Nielsen at Steve’s Hot Rod Garage
